Josh knows State government. His work for Governor Perdue, Chairman Wendell Willard and with the State Ethics Commission has given him the tools and experience needed to bring effective and focused leadership to the State Senate on Day One. Josh does not just talk about bringing conservative leadership to our State Capitol, he's already done it. During his time with the Governor, Josh helped reduce state spending by 15%, eliminate the State's property tax, eliminate the senior income tax, and make healthcare more affordable and available to Georgians. His public service also extends to his time as a law clerk to Judge J.L. Edmondson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, as a member of the Medical College of Georgia Health System Board of Directors and the Sandy Springs Charter Review Commission.
Josh understands business. As a partner in the law firm Robbins, Ross, Alloy, Belinfante & Littlefield, Josh helps oversee the operations of the firm, including meeting payroll, managing benefits, and working with the employees of the firm to provide top-notch legal services to the firm's clients. He also helped manage his wife's practice for years before she joined Emory Healthcare. He will take these experiences as a small business owner to the State Senate.
Josh knows our community. He began his career as a high school teacher at Pace Academy, and he now serves as the President of the Pace Academy Alumni Association. Josh is also on the boards of the Law and Judiciary Committee of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the Atlanta Chapter of the Federalist Society, the Conservative Policy Leadership Institute, To Remember (an organization dedicated to ending Alzheimer’s disease), and he was a founding member of Republican Leadership for Georgia.
